Old Media is Colluding With New Tech

Old media is dying.  It’s been this way for a very long time.  Their attempts to stave off the inevitable come across as equal parts desperate and sad.  At least, that’s how it used to be.  They can’t appeal to the new generation the way they can to the old.  The new generation has seen their tricks, and knows that they have nothing to offer.  Along came the sites that were a voice for the new generation.  You have the biggest and best among them – YouTube.  A place where voices with alternative things to say, whatever opinion they wanted, could congregate.  It destroyed old gaming media as now gaming critics didn’t have to be beholden to what whores they are.  Now it is destroying old news media too.

Then something happened.  I’m kind of shocked it took this long for it to happen, but it has.  Old media realized that they can’t appeal to the hearts and minds of young people by doing what they do, so they had to take a different tactic – attack new media.  Their first target was PewDiePie.  The Wall Street Journal made a hit-piece video deliberately taking things he said out of context to sell a narrative.  But they found that the people who consumed new media weren’t biting.  In fact, the backlash they got from this was a resounding middle finger all across the Internet.

From there, old media has to fall back and lick their wounds.  New media has all the PR force working for them.  Old media are whores.  CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, The New York Times, all of them are just whores who tell you what they think you want to hear.  But since the new generation isn’t biting, they had to find a way to make themselves powerful again without changing the hearts and minds.  Why not shut down new media?  Why not take new media down a peg and install themselves into their eye.  But they would need help to do this.

Enter new tech.  Thanks to the social justice culture we are all immersed (drowned) in, they were starting to realize that there are a lot of people out there with ideas that other people don’t like.  Rather than embracing this as a sign of their efficacy, they decided it was time to stop endorsing free speech, and start restricting it.  Because after all, speech that any snowflake anywhere can find offensive may have ads for Coca Cola on it.  The horror!  People who buy Coke products might be subjected to things that challenge their worldview!  New tech couldn’t have any of that.

Bit by bit, they started banning and deplatforming people that they don’t agree with.  People whose opinions have been labeled “hateful” or “dangerous” by the dumb-shit public at large.  And they are stupid.  The public is the dumbest thing in the world.  A person can be smart, but people. as a whole, are fucking idiots.  What’s more, these idiots even have defenders!  People who say that their deplatforming is justified.  “They violated the Terms of Service.  It’s a free market.  They don’t have to have free speech on there!”  Morons who use that language are basically admitting that they are fine with the public discourse being regulated.

Twitter, YouTube, all of the social media are now too ubiquitous in society to just be seen as a corporation.  Everyone uses them, to one extent or another.  When people say that they are okay with these companies deciding that they don’t like a certain person or type of content and that banning it is totally fine, they are saying they are fine with other people controlling what they see and hear.  They are fine with a censor of their discourse.  And if you think it ends there, you’re delusional.

Meanwhile, old media saw all this and has now decided to cozy up to these big companies.  They are doing the heavy lifting of attacking new media, so now they can come in and make nice with them.  Suck the YouTube financial side off and get them to talk about how great old media is and how they want to partner up to it.  We even have the head of YouTube talking about her love of old media and wanting to throw out millions of dollars to help pimp them out more on their platform.  “Just you wait, young people of today!  We’re gonna show you that old media is cool too!”

Except they’re not.  They’re whores.  And they will do whatever they can to keep themselves alive so they can continue being whores.  Since they couldn’t stand tall to new media on equal footing, now they decided to pit new tech against new media by using outrage culture to their advantage.  Now that outrage culture has deplatformed and demonetized new media, old media is cozying up to new tech seeing if they can use this opportunity to finish the job.

Which is where Alex Jones comes into the picture.  Love him or hate him (I think he’s a sellout, moron, buffoon, huckster, liar, shill, and has no issue selling lies to the public so long as you buy his supplements), he had a voice in new media.  It was a pretty big voice too.  Millions of people watched and/or listened to his bullshit.  But in comes CNN who decided to make a very vocal war with him.  Their antagonism to one-another was interesting to watch, make no mistake.  However, after the PR war was done, old media was able to convince new tech that keeping him around is bad.  That he is dangerous and has dangerous ideas.

So he got banned.  My first take was that this is a left v right battle.  It makes some sense.  He’s a popular right-wing figure, and new tech is most definitely carrying the value system of Silicon Valley.  Upon further reflection, I realized that it isn’t that.  This was a test.  A canary in the coal mine, if you will.  New tech and old media want to start purging voices that they don’t like.  The new media that is too big and that they can’t control.  So all old media has to do is paint them as villains, and presto!  They can make this kind of new media disappear.  All it would take is to get the public on board.  If they can get the public on their side, it will work.

And the public was on their side.  I saw post after post getting a lot of fulfillment that Alex Jones was banned from Facebook, YouTube, iTunes, and Spotify.  Twitter was the only one to hold their ground on his expression, but they will fold, eventually.  What does this mean?  It means that old media is going to do this again.  Just you wait, they will start painting every new media outlet they don’t like as evil and wrong and saying it has to be destroyed.  And since new tech has basically said they will do whatever they want because of the money involved from advertisers and no risk of public backlash, they will be with them every step of the way.

I remember when the Internet was the Wild West.  You could say what you want, and all the voices for whatever point of view you were looking for, they were there.  YouTube was where I could go to get content that I like.  Find opinions that I find engaging or conflicting but worth listening to, and lots of them.  Twitter was the graffiti board.  Where we could shit-post and be ridiculous and nobody cared.  But those days are done.  Now it’s gotta be safe and marketable and corporate-friendly.  Because if Coke ads appear on bad content, the horror!  So many people try and justify that attitude.  “But Lucien, they’re a business!  What’s wrong with them wanting to make money?”  Yeah, I’m sure they were making chump change before all this bullshit.  I’m totally sure.

Where does it end?  I suppose it would end when the public has had enough.  But they won’t.  The public is stupid, complacent, fat, ignorant, unconcerned, and can’t be trusted to stand up for anything.  So this will continue unopposed.  Hopefully you’re all okay with that.  The real irony is that old media used to have voices in it who stood against the grain.  They are remembered today as some of the greatest journalists of all time.  What will CNN be remembered for?  I’ll tell you – being infotainment.  They don’t inform you anymore.  They create news and tell you how to feel about it.  What about The New York Times?  Well, these days, they’ll be remembered for employing an openly bigoted woman because she’s bigoted against the group it’s okay to be a bigot against – white people.  That’s culturally acceptable bigotry.

And when new tech and old media are the best of friends, where will those like me, who want to heart independent voices I don’t always agree with, but who make me think go?  It’s a good question.

Until next time, a quote,

Count Dankula, the UK, Free Speech, and the Regressive Left’s Embrace of Fascistic Ideals

That title is a mouthful, but there’s a lot I want to talk about in this post.  Recently, a YouTuber named Count Dankula made a video where he taught his pug to raise his paw like a Nazi salute when he says “Seig Heil.”  It’s the most basic low-brow comedy.  He taught a cute doggy how to do something offensive.  It’s basic bitch comedy.  But the UK disagreed.  They found it offensive, and now this man is being convicted of a crime for being offensive.  An actual crime that faces actual jail time.  That’s what this man is facing right now.  A baffling state of affairs that truly does shock me to my core.

Let me put this into perspective for you – a First World country has actually made hurting people’s feelings offensive.  And it’s not the first.  Belgium is the first.  This is the second.  Now Spain is also getting in on the fun.  More and more First World countries are making it illegal to say things that hurt people’s feelings.  The fact that this doesn’t terrify people is utterly gut-wrenching.  Why?  Because people don’t seem to really understand what is going to happen with this.  Where all of this is going.  It will sound like I am making a slippery slope fallacy with where this is going, but there is real historical evidence for my contentions.

I don’t agree with virtually any of Milo Yiannopoulos’ politics, save one.  It baffles me that free speech is a right-wing issue now instead of a left-wing one.  That wasn’t always the case.  Hell, back in the age of McCarthy, it was a left-wing issue as the right crushed people’s freedom of expression.  But then the tables turned and it became the right who championed it, because all the “progressive” fuckers had to come out of the woodwork and decide that if what you say makes people sad, then you lose the right to say it.

Another thing that Milo has said that I genuinely agree with is this –

Freedom of speech is something that has to be fought for in every generation, so people can appreciate what it means.

It really does, because people truly don’t appreciate it now.  Because now you have people saying things like –

Just because you have freedom of speech doesn’t mean you have the freedom to offend people!

People who think this way need to fall into a volcano and rid the world of their stupidity.  Why?  Because the people who believe that my right to speech ends at your feelings are not understanding how this sort of thinking is most-certainly going to be used by the very worst sorts of people.

It’s funny that you have people on the far-left saying that Nazis are so bad, when they seem very comfortable with embracing the ideals of fascism.  Do these people just not realize that once we make speech a right that can be taken away, and start legislating which speech can be illegal and which is not, that someone in power is eventually going to use that to crush dissent?  We’ve seen it before.  There are countless historical stories of figures using legislation against speech to destroy all opposition.

A lot of people can make the argument that the SJWs already do this.  I think there is something to this argument.  We’ve seen how those in power within the movement exploit their authority for their own gains, and anyone who speaks out against them, they sic their little mobs of sycophants on them.  These people have no sense of decency.  They will exploit whatever power they can get their grubby mits on in order to gain more power and take power away from people they don’t like.  They do it on YouTube, they do it in the media, and now they are doing it from positions of authority.

The far-left likes to fancy themselves the proletariat fighting against the bourgeois, but they’re not.  They’re the useful idiots of the bourgeois, fighting in favor of the very fascism that they claim to be so against.  And make no mistake, the powerful are going to utilize them to their own benefit.  Now that it is acceptable to criminalize speech, where does it end?  It ends where a dictator in power says it does.  With more and more First World countries adopting the SJW logic as a cultural mindset, it’s a fact that dictators will rise.  And once they have enough power, they will come for everyone who they are against.  Who will speak up?  Nobody.  Because the public is already brainwashed by these idiots.

In closing, the UK has done a decidedly horrible thing, and by the time they realize just how bad this is, it will be too late, and the ACTUAL fascists will be in power, and all dissent will be met with fervent applause.  Chris Ray Gun did a fantastic music number about this, so that’s what I’m going to close this out with.

Planned Parenthood Protest and Freedom of Speech

To anyone who doesn’t know, I am very pro-choice.  I have this position for a number of reasons.  For starters, since there are seven billion people on this planet and overpopulation is the biggest threat to our planet’s future, it just seems ridiculous to me to force a woman to go through with a pregnancy that she doesn’t want.  Second, whose right is it for the government to tell a woman what to do with her body?  I find it amazing that all these “small government” conservatives want to be able to legislate what women will do with their bodies.  Third, making abortion illegal will do nothing to stop them from happening.  This point has been brought up a thousand times, and it is still on point.  It just makes it so that abortions happen in back alleys by doctors who can’t be trusted, rather than in a clean, sterile environment where women can get care from licensed physicians who have years of practice under their belt.  There is no rational reason for me to be pro-life.

Anyone who has been following this blog for a long time knows that I am very much in support of Planned Parenthood as well.  I’ve told this story before (anecdotal evidence!) about a former friend of mine who hates my guts.  When she was a teenager, the guy she was with used her as a living sex toy and she ended up getting knocked up because this guy also wasn’t the best about protection.  What a shock.  Alone, unable to talk to anyone, she made what she has described as the hardest decision of her entire life and went to Planned Parenthood to have an abortion.  It was something she dealt with alone, and it helped shape all of her relationships since that point.

So when I see a rather sizeable crowd gathered outside of Planned Parenthood tonight with signs all about how abortion is evil and how Planned Parenthood is basically an abortion factory, you can imagine how annoyed I was.  Not only is the idea that all they do being abortions been proven beyond any reasonable doubt to be complete bullshit, but it only accounts for 3% of all the services they provide.  The rest is helping girls like a former girl I ran with whose periods were so painful that they caused her to be in agony for hours get birth control that she doesn’t take for sexual assistance purposes (though that is a fringe benefit) but to help her manage something that is excruciating.  Or there are women who don’t have the money for breast scans or other things to help detect cancer early.  Then there are just the people who use them to help get easy medical care that they don’t have to pay an arm and a leg for.

These people are motivated by ignorance.  They use pathos to get their point.  It’s easy to have some grotesque photo of a deceased embryo and believe that that is all abortion is.  Some murder factory for the fetus where all the youth are taken to be slaughtered.  It’s disgusting, to say the least.  Not to mention disingenuous.  That is not what abortion is.  Never even close.  Most abortions happen in the first few weeks of a pregnancy, when the fetus is nothing but a cluster of cells.  This image of abortion doctors being Nazi scientists harvesting baby organs is both laughable and insulting.  However, for those who are easily swayed by pathos and whose critical faculties lack in almost every discernible way, that’s all they need to hear to conclude that their path is right.  It helps that they are almost-exclusively guided by a religious belief that says that all life is sacred.  You know, except when God is commanding his armies to kill children and rip open the bellies of pregnant women.  Then murder is A-okay.  But let’s not get into the hypocrisy of Christianity.  That conversation would never end.

However, this is where something that I strongly believe in comes into play.  See, mama didn’t raise no hypocrite.  I find it funny that free speech has gone from being a liberal issue like back during the Red Scare when people were fighting against McCarthy and his witch-hunts, who argued that free speech and a free press was the cornerstone of a functioning democracy and should be cherished.  Because free speech isn’t designed to protect the majority opinion.  That doesn’t need protecting.  It is designed to protect the minority opinion.  And here’s where I am going to annoy some of my more liberal-minded contemporaries – the opinion that God hates abortion and it is evil and should be outlawed is a minority opinion in the US.  Overall, society in this country is cool with abortion and thinks that it should be legal for those who want to partake.  They believe that women should have dominion over their own bodies.  That’s good.  No joke, I’m glad that that’s the case.  So the demonstration I saw tonight is a minority opinion (dumb as it is) that is being exercised by people who have it.

So when someone came to me on the phone tonight and said, “dude, I wish I could blow those fuckers up,” I decided to stand tall to that person and say that that is a really stupid way to view things.  The reality is that I vehemently disagree with everything those idiots with the signs were saying.  However, I would fight another person who wanted to take away that right to the death for their right to speak their ridiculous bullshit.  I refuse to be a hypocrite.  I refuse to join a group of people who want to suppress another group’s opinion, even if I believe that they are completely wrong and it says a lot about their character for having that opinion.

I stopped believing in God because I stopped seeing things as us vs. them.  I got rid of this dogmatic part of me that wants to follow an ideology blindly.  Now I see my brethren on the left seeing it as totally cool to demonize people on the right and shut down their speech.  After all, their speech might hurt people’s feelings!  Or spread “dangerous ideas!”  We can’t have that!  If something offends something that the Supreme Leader says, then that thing must be stopped!  We must take to the streets!  Burn their books!  Shut down their speech because we don’t approve!  If they don’t conform to our way of thinking, put them in camps!  Some gross hyperbole mixed in with things that these people think.  But here’s something that really gets to me when thinking about it –

For some of these, can you honestly tell which is which?

Let’s Talk about Twitter and Free Speech (A response to The Amazing Atheist)

For those of you who don’t know, the other day, a douche-monkey named Atheism is Unstoppable’s Twitter account was suspended.  Again.  This happens a lot.  This guy has a problem controlling his mouth when it wants to say specific things.  What things – doxxing.  This dude has a bad habit of doxxing people, and it has gotten him suspended more than once.  He’s also had a problem with his YouTube channels being subjected to false-flagging campaigns.  I am bringing both of these up for a reason.  See, TJ, aka The Amazing Atheist did a video on his TJ Does Life channel (linked here) where he defended AIU’s ability to say whatever he wants, and believes that he should not lose his ability to speak because of it.  Needless to say, this is contentious.  And I thought that I would interject, knowing full well that he will NEVER read the opinion of some nobody on WordPress, even though I do plan to send this his way.  As I said, he won’t read it, but maybe somebody will.

Let’s talk about the false-flagging campaigns first.  I am 100% against them.  I would never, ever flag a video because I don’t like it . If a video was doxxing someone, then that is somewhere where I can see it needs to be flagged.  I am the kind of person who takes doxxing very, very seriously.  I believe that it should be cracked down upon, because nobody should have their private information leaked onto the Internet.  That’s private for a reason.  Why did I feel the need to say this?  Because I am going to tell you all something.

I am absolutely for the right of people to speak as they wish.  Free speech is sacrosanct, to me.  You should have the right to say whatever dumb-fuck thought enters your mind, no matter how inflammatory it is.  I will fight to the death to defend the right of crazy Fundies or crazy feminists to speak their mind.  I may despise both groups, but I will fight for that right all the same.  One needs to get that out there before I go to the second part of this.  To be honest, this isn’t going to be a long post.  I don’t have too much to say.  I wouldn’t even be making this if, on the last episode of The Drunken Peasants Podcast (linked here) they hadn’t elaborated on TJ’s statements, with Paul’s Ego chiming in as well.  This is why I don’t live in an echo chamber.  It was nice to have people who I don’t always agree with making statements that I definitely didn’t.  I thought that especially Paul’s Ego was a little crass on this.  But it was worth listening to, and it is a pity that I am some nobody on WordPress, because I wish I could engage with them in civil discourse.

Here’s the thing – Twitter is not a free speech zone.  Why?  Simple – because they are not part of the government.  If Twitter was a government subsidized company or under the government’s tutelage, then yes, I would say that they should not be able to silence people’s ability to speak.  But that’s not what’s happening here.  They are a private business, and they can set the rules however they want, and interpret them however they want.  If that means that tomorrow my account is suspended because I’m an atheist and have said atheist things, or that I have sent snarky things to feminists who all have me blocked, would that bug me?  Sure.  But I can’t call foul because of free speech.  That isn’t what Twitter is.  It’s a private service and they call the shots.  Sometimes that means that companies are unfair.

The guys at DP seem to believe that being libertarian means that you’re conservative.  But that’s not how it is.  I am a member of the Libertarian Left in this country.  That’s where I am on the political spectrum.  I believe that any company that pays its taxes doesn’t break the law should be allowed to do business with whomever they like.  The whole thing about “no shirt, no shoes, no service,” that’s how I tend to see it.  Twitter can make the rules as they like.  Don’t like it?  Well, the Chans exist for a reason.  There you can be as nuts as you like.  And if one Chan bans you, there are tons of others.

TJ, you will never read this, but I hope that someone connected to you does, and maybe they can see where I’m coming from.  Do I believe that AIU’s account should have been suspended for doxxing?  Yes.  I believe there should be a three strikes policy in respect to this sort of thing.  Three strikes, you are banned from Twitter.  If you can’t learn your shit and stop doc-dropping people, then you pay the price.  But that’s just my opinion.  I don’t make the rules.  Twitter isn’t a part of the government.  And that’s what I have to say about that.

You and Yours are Victim-Blaming, and Screw You (A response to Pope Jorge)

Yes, once-again, the PC left has come out in defense of terrorism.  Don’t ask me how that works.  I guess they are so desperate to appear accepting that they will even accept violent psychopaths.  Because if we don’t, then people get sad.  And in one of the most foul and disgusting pieces of victim-blaming ever, people like Glen Greenwald and the intellectually-void Johnathan McIntosh came out against Charlie Hibdo, basically saying – you had it coming.  Man, I guess they never saw those PSAs that would tell us, “it’s never the victim’s fault.”  For real, that’s basic logic.  But probably the most offensive bit of victim-blaming came from the last remaining theocrat – Pope Jorge.

He goes by Francis, but this little worm hasn’t earned the right to be called by that name.  This duplicitous piece of shit is undeserving of any respect at all.  And yet, because Catholicism is a belief system still stuck in the Dark Ages (and very much resenting that they don’t have the power that they had back then), this aging theocratic monarch has a TON of people who listen to what he says, and believe it, too.  Because that’s a totally rational way to live your life, right?  In any case, Pope Jorge had some thoughts on what happened to Charlie Hebdo, and the reactions have been…astounding.  Don’t believe me.  See for yourself.

I love that CNN has plenty of photogenic blonde hand-puppets.  It’s all the rage on Fox.  But let’s not focus on that.  We have bigger fish to fry.  Yes indeed, Pope Jorge decided to say something profoundly stupid, and now I’m going to take him to task for it.  The stupid thing of the day – free speech is limited.  The fuck?!  Um, no!  No it is not!  The freedom of speech is absolute.  Regardless of whatever stupid bullshit you believe, you have the right to say it.  That’s how this works.  Listening to Jorge tell us about how freedom of speech does not extend to attacking other people’s religion sounds very much like some Catholic butthurt.

Speaking of, did you hear the guy who commented after Jorge was finished?  Yeah, LOTS of butthurt.  I can’t imagine way.  After all, it’s not like the Catholic church is full of priests and cardinals who have diddled little children, right?  That never happened.  It’s also not like Catholicism worships an imaginary man in the sky, who has jealousy problems of other religions, gets butthurt and then genocidal, make a convoluted and retarded plan to have his son (who is also him.  What was that song, I’m My Own Grandpa…) killed for the mercy of the world.  Or hey, let’s talk about how petty your Gawd is, since he doesn’t like it if consenting adults have buttsex.  Yeah, that sounds like a belief system that deserves respect.

Which brings us to Islam.  There is no reason why Islam should be exempt from criticism.  None.  At all.  It is a religion that has 109 passages about converting or killing non-believers.  They will go on and on about their religion being one of peace, but it’s in their holy book that it’s not!  Come to think of it, the holy book of Christians condones a lot of violence too.  That’s interesting.  Hey, maybe you and the Catholics should get along!  After all, both of you believe that someone who diddled small children has a special connection to God.

It all brings me to this – the freedom of speech is absolute.  That is something I believe from the bottom of my heart.  If some racist holocaust denier wants to spew his vile bullshit, it’s his right to do so.  Just as it’s my right to call him a fucking idiot for saying that.  If someone wants to say that having sex with small children is cool, it is my freedom to come right back at him and say, “why the fuck are you out of the basement?  Back, vile creature!  Back to the pit from whence you came!”

So to Pope Jorge and to all the people who agree with him, I’m going to use my freedom of speech to say – fuck you!  Fuck your stupid bullshit religion.  Fuck your phony-bologna Gawd.  Fuck your smug attitude.  Fuck your PC pandering so you don’t hurt some precious little snowflake’s feelings.  Fuck all that!  You people are part of the problem.  Because once you start saying that this group of people or that group deserves special consideration and how nobody should hurt their feelings, where does it end?  History has been made by the hurting of feelings!  The greatest changes have come from people who made other people mad.  Martin Luther and nailing the 95 Theses to the church was one of the catalysts of the Protestant Reformation.  Martin Luther King insulting the bigoted parts of America helped get his cause off the ground.  Mohandas Ghandi leading his march to the sea angered the British.  Hurt feelings have changed more history than any other.

And it makes sense that people like Johnathan McIntosh are against free speech.  After all, he is part of a very new religion – Puritan Feminism.  Just like all religions, anyone who questions it is quickly denounced and made example of.  I suddenly get why they are quick to defend Islam.  But here’s the truth – questioning and mocking religion is one of the best things that can be done.  Because while there are the butthurt losers who will scream and shout and kill people for their faith, there might just be some people who look at that and go – why are they making fun of my religion?  And then they might look into what these people are saying.  Then they might learn something.  Once they do that, then they might start to doubt in its validity.  Then that person can spread that to others, and change can happen.

So fuck PC pussies, and fuck Pope Jorge too.

Muhammad’s Big Change! #JeSuisCharlie

I can’t draw.  That’s always been something I’ve been sad about.  I’ve wanted to be able to draw, but I can’t.  But you know what I can do – write.  I can write well and reach a fairly broad audience.  So, I have an idea.  I’m going to tell you of a dream that I had.

The Prophet Muhammad came to me in a dream.  He told me many things.  Things that all of you must know!  He told me that he was done buggering nine year old girls.  He said that that was just “too mainstream.”  I don’t know what trends he’s following, but all the same.  At least he’s done being a pedophile.  Yes, he told me that he got a sex change, and became a woman.  His new identity is Anita Sarkeesian.  From there, he has spread a new gospel!  A gospel of how sexist video games are.  Indeed, the Prophet is very concerned about video games.  They don’t mesh at all with the values that he used to teach, back when he was a man.  I mean, have you seen the women in them?  They are hardly wearing anything!  I mean, sure, there are plenty of strong female protagonists, even among those who are dressed scantily, but it’s still wrong!
And naturally, the Prophet is a lesbian.  She couldn’t, in good conscience, not be.  Being one of those cis monsters were just too much.  She has started dating Kristen Stewart, because of the AMAZING performance she gave in Twilight.  Something about a subservient woman who obeys the one she is with just clicks with her.  She can’t figure out why.  Part of her thinks it was because of where she grew up.  That makes sense.  There is this other part of her life growing up that came with her as well.  Whenever there is someone who disagrees with her, he want to bomb them.  Part of her feels terrible about that.  After all, this is the 21st century!  That kind of thinking is outdated.  Now we have to blog and rant about our problems.  That’s how civilized people do it.
But the Internet can be so cruel!  People haven’t accepted her gospel of sexism in video games.  She keeps trying to bring up their cruelty and how hurtful it is, but everyone says that she is baiting the trolls.  Well so what?!  It’s not cool that she feels this way!  We need to do everything we can to make sure that the Prophet feels super-special all the time, just like the tender snowflake she is.  Oh, right, she told me that she’s not a snowflake.  She’s a strong and independent woman, who just happens to want everyone to constantly try and make her feel good.  Yeah, that doesn’t make much sense to me, either.
So, what’s next for the Prophet?  Well, she is going to preach her gospel to Intel, now that they have decided to join her church of Puritan Feminism.  It’s a religion that’s growing fast in the west.  Promoting conservative values for women everywhere.  I wish her the best of luck.

In summary, fuck Islam, fuck the “Prophet,” and fuck anyone who say that free speech against religion is wrong.

Until next time, a quote,

Conservative Stupidity and Duck Dynasty

Okay, you know what, I didn’t want to do this.  I made my opinion known on Facebook, in a very brief post, and that was that.  I was going to do such on my Tumblr too, but you know what, after I have heard SO much conservative stupiditarded bullshit that has been thrown out after all this, that I am going to make my own response.  Here’s the brief version – shut the fuck up.  This isn’t a free speech problem.

I know that a dozen of you are wanting to jump on the gun and attack me, so let’s expand this.  The reality of what has happened is that this guy from that piece of shit (and completely FAKE!) show Duck Dynasty made a lot of remarks about what he sees homosexuality as.  They fall in line with the usual BS you hear from Republicans about what God wants and all that. Blah-blah-blah, right?  But in the end, this has absolutely jack-all to do with what was said on that show.  For real, this boils down something much simpler than that.  As I said, this isn’t a free speech problem.

Does anyone remember Paula Deen and her using a certain racial epithet on her cooking show?  I noticed that she didn’t have NEARLY the conservatarded support that Phil who-gives-a-fuck does.  The network she was on had just as much right to get rid of her as A&E had to get rid of Phil.  Everyone who is talking about this being a free speech thing has to keep this in mind – the government isn’t paying for this network.  For real, this network is privately owned.  That means that they can fire somebody for almost any reason they damn-well please.  They could have fired him if he had said, “I love My Little Pony!”  So yeah, this whole thing boils down to a private company, in the free market, making a free market decision.  Weren’t all of you conservatards behind that?  Wasn’t the free market the thing you jerked off to at night?

For all the conservatives who are for this, were you on Martin Bashir’s side when he bashed Sarah Palin?  How about the Dixie Chicks when they bashed George Bush II (this time, it’s stupid!)?  Or maybe Paula Deen?  I heard some out there, but it turns out, once a certain word is used, the right-wing loony-tunes are not so quick to defend.  Every time someone bashing one of your people uses their right to free speech, you are up in arms, but when someone you like does it, you think the Constitution has your back.

The fact is, this is a non-issue.  For real, this doesn’t have shit to do with shit.  This was the free market in action, and if you don’t like it, too damn bad.  Phil Who-Gives-a-Fuck used his right to free speech, and the free market decided that he was not what A&E wanted, so they cut him loose.  Simple as that.  This whole thing about this being a Constitutional issue is so dumb that it hurts.  So long as this is a private business, they can fire his ass whenever they want.  If he doesn’t like it, he can sue.

Though that would serve no purpose.  This guy was already loaded before he came on to this show, because it is completely and utterly fake.  A narrative given to him by A&E to make people not know that a couple years before he was on this show, he was a clean-shaven white-collar yuppie.  Oh, did you not know?  Sorry to pull back the curtain.  Check out the linked video above for proof.

Until next time, a quote,

“At this point, I have a request for our fans.  If you, in any way, hate homosexuals, people of different color or women, please do us this one favor – leave us the fuck alone!  Don’t come to our shows and don’t buy our records.”  -Kurt Cobain
