Woman who is Denied an Abortion Dies from Miscarriage? Yeah, that’s “Pro-Life”

I’m with Mr. Repzion on this – if men could get pregnant, you would see abortion clinics everywhere!  It would be like fucking McDonald’s!  They would have drive-through abortion services, complete with a milkshake!  Yeah, that is what it would be.  But instead, we don’t have that.  What we do have is something far worse.

See, the story goes that a woman named Savita Halappanavar was in a hospital in Ireland.  She was in the middle of a miscarriage, begging the doctors to terminate her pregnancy and save her.  But they refused, saying -

This is a Catholic country.

The woman later died from blood poisoning.  Yeah, a hospital, a place where they have people who are supposed to take Hippocratic Oath “to do no harm,” decided that they would put their religious zealotry up on display and let this woman, who was in the middle of a pregnancy that was already failing, and could not be saved, die.

It’s moments like these that make me really pissed off whenever I hear a group of people talk about how they are “pro-life.”  That is such an oxymoron.  If you are “pro-life,” I ask you – do you respect what these Catholic assholes did?  Do you think they made the right choice, letting this woman die?  You can’t.  You can’t do that.  You can’t possibly justify this sort of thing.

The Catholic church at large has defended this position, saying that because the baby had a heart-beat, it was okay to let the woman die.  What the fuck?!  It perplexes me to now end how the Catholics are able to get away with that sort of position and never feel the hammer of justice or social outrage come down on them.  For real, their congregations will defend it too.  They will defend it because that’s how Catholic dogma works.  What the church does is always right, and you can never question it.  That’s the mentality that surrounded this corrupt bureaucracy that is the Catholic faith.

And now, we are seeing that they want to push their agenda on to not only on to their mindless congregations of mind-slaves, but also on to the rest of us with government.  This is what their religion, and all religions, really, do.  They know that they have government in their back-pocket because for the most part, you can’t get elected into a high office in almost any 1st-world nation unless you are part of the most popular religion of the land.  Here in America, you sure as hell can’t get elected if you are an atheist.  An atheist Presidential candidate wouldn’t last five minutes.

I am almost in awe of the Catholic church at this point.  They have a gift at this.  They are able to commit so much crime, and it just brushes off their congregation like water off a duck’s feathers.  They have priests who are getting away with molesting and sometimes raping children.  You have the church laundering money from the EU, over 20 million euros, and not feeling any justice or retribution coming down on them.  And worst of all, there is the forced dogma that contraception is wrong in places like Africa, where condoms are so few places to be found, and AIDS is rampant.  And also, all over the world, they are working to get rid of contraception and abortion.  So that the poorest of us will be wage-slaves, if they can even get money.

These people are criminals.  They are committing crimes against humanity.  The entire church, from the Pope’s fat ass and every bishop, cardinal and priest should be brought before the International Crimes Court and then be hauled off in chains to the nearest jail and put there to rot, for the rest of their miserable fucking lives!  These people shouldn’t see the light of day again for a long time.

But of course, just like every other time, they are going to get away with it.  They have their greedy crypt-keeper claws so far in the pockets of government and finance that they could go into a room and rape your daughter and you wouldn’t be able to have shit done about it.  Think about this – if you found out that some low-life sicko raped your daughter, what would you do?  You would go find that person and beat their ass to death with a baseball bat.  You would hang them from the highest fucking tree.  Or what if you found out that somebody stole from you, and that nothing will happen to them?  Well, I figure it would be much the same.  How about if somebody held your wife down and wouldn’t help her while she died?  What would you do to them?  Thankfully, the husband of this woman didn’t do what you and I would probably do, which would involve duct tape, rope, and a table saw.  He went back to India.

Catholics, you should feel proud right now.  You are getting away with murder!  That’s amazing!  You literally helped kill this woman.  At the very least, these doctors are accessories to murder, if not guilty of murder in the second degree.  And you get to defend them, and feel no public backlash!  That’s awesome!  You greedy, insensitive, uncaring, inhuman mother-fuckers get to get off scott-free for advocating that the death of this woman by your antiquated values was okay.

So, if you are “pro-life” (anti-woman), I have one thing to say to you – you better not be in favor of this.  This is so far from what “pro-life” should be that it makes me a little sick.  People often ask me why I go off so much on religion, saying that it doesn’t hurt anybody.  Well, that’s a load of shit!  It does stuff like this!  And gets away with it!  So don’t you tell me that religion isn’t doing any real harm!  This is disgusting!  And the people who are for it should be ashamed.  But they aren’t.  The Catholic church doesn’t know how to feel shame anymore.  They’ve been getting away with this for too long.

Fuck the Irish hospital that let this happen.  Fuck Ireland.  And especially, fuck the Catholic church.  You people make me sick.

Well, I thought to myself, as I was sitting here in my dorm room – I’m in kind of a bad mood today, let’s find some dumbass Christian Fundie who thinks that they are so right, and how smart they are, and pwn them into oblivion.  And, as luck would so happen, I have found that very Fundie.  They call themselves The TRUTH Group.  Yeah, because all caps makes it sound so much better, right?  Anyway, here is the link to the video, now let the pwnage begin.

Wow does this guy talk fast.  And yeah, there is no evidence.  None that has been presented to me that either I or people far smarter than I have debunked into oblivion.  But I look forward to you trying to find some.

When’s the last time you walked into a library and asked, “hey, where are all the books that have been written by mindless natural laws?”  The librarian will probably laugh at you and tell you that no such books exist.

And she’s pretty smart.  That makes sense.  Of course a book is written by a person.  It’s a book!  I mean, that would be kind of dumb to say that a book could just come into existence.  But I see where you’re going with this, and I will pwn your argument when we get to it.

They don’t exist because they can’t exist.  Why not?  Because first of all, it’s just common sense.

What?  You are trying to debunk the atheist’s claim that there is no evidence for God, and your first bit of evidence is “it’s just common sense?”  Wow, that’s remarkably stupid.  I mean, that is NOT an answer to the skeptic’s challenge.  We want proof, that you can tangibly interact with and tangibly read in a scientific way.  Instead, you choose to give us “common sense?”

You know, I need to address this, because I think a lot of people have some pretty dumb ideas about what common sense actually is.  See, a lot of ideas are common.  There is this idea that the world was created in seven days.  A lot of people call that common sense.  Well, yeah, it’s common, but it makes no fucking sense!  This idea is nuts.  At its core, it is totally insane.  All scientific evidence points to this universe being billions of years old, and having come into existence over a slow period of time.  Then, there are people who believe that reptile aliens are in control of all governments and corporations and are secretly trying to fatten us up and feed us to their alien offspring who are waiting in orbit.  Haven’t heard of that?  Well yeah, that’s because it isn’t very common.  Of course, it also doesn’t make sense, but hey, maybe I am wrong.  And there is more logic to this than the other point.  So yeah, for something to be common sense, it has to not only be common, but it has to make sense.  Got that?  Okay, let’s continue.

The words form the messages of the books always originate from a person with a brain.  Or to say it a bit more scientifically, the message of the book, the purpose, comes to be understood by an orderly placement of the words designed in information.

What the hell?!  What are you talking about?!  Somebody wrote a book and that signifies…what, exactly?  Honestly, I’m not following.

Ah, information (that thing I have so little of).  Now, anytime we find info, these basic laws always apply.

You’re kidding.  I see again where you’re going with this.  But wait, laws?  There is a law about information?  Where?  What source do you have for there being a law about information?  Not to mention – this is stuff written in a book you are talking about!  If there is a law that says that everything in a book was written down by somebody, then humanity is far dumber than I give them credit for.  Your analogy is so bad, mostly because it doesn’t make sense even in context to itself.  For real, you are talking about books, and from this, you are going to try and extrapolate to all of matter and life.  This painfully dumb!  I almost feel sorry for you, Mr. Fast-Talker.

#1 – Matter doesn’t spontaneously produce information.

Yeah it does.  It does all the time.  The grouping of matter that is done on the atomic level creates the building blocks for all life, and all matter.  Atoms and different elements come together and create molecules, and from there, chains of molecules, and these grow larger and larger, until you created a greater form.  The idea that matter does produce “information,” which is a bullshit term, by the way, because we all know what you mean, is false.  What you actually mean is that matter can’t produce stuff, life, existence, and that is dead-wrong.  We know for a fact that it’s wrong.  So, point 1 is dumb.  Next!

#2 – Only a mental source, intelligence, can generate new creative information.

What?

In other words, just like those books couldn’t originate without a mind, neither could life.

See, I told we’d get here eventually.  Okay, the argument that there had to be a design for life.  We have heard this, time and time again, and it is kind of old-hat by now.  The argument that life had to be created, because it is just SO perfect (outright-lie!) has been debunked by pretty much every atheist intellectual in existence.  There is an entire chapter in “The God Delusion,” by Richard Dawkins talking about this, so your point fails.

Why not, you ask?  Because we know that the DNA contains information therefore the laws of information science apply.  Which means that information and DNA could not have spontaneously generated, and that a mind is behind the information.  Period, no exceptions.

Oh, where do we begin?  For one, how are you stupid enough to believe that the print in a book is even remotely close to the information in a DNA strand?  For one thing, print in a book is done with ink.  A DNA strand is chemicals and matter, strung together.  There are dozens of different kinds of information that exist in many different ways.  From stuff on the internet, to stuff on the radio, to stuff in radiation.  Yeah, everything has its own amount of radiation.  You do, and so do I, and your computer, and your desk, and the trees outside.  If you are going to compare information, why not compare the information on a DNA strand to the text here on the internet?  Oh, wait, I know – because that is fucking dumb!  These things have nothing to do with each other.  This logic is so ridiculous, and you want to declare “Period, no exceptions.”  God are you stupid!

Look at it this way – the simplest form of life is an amoeba.

Wait!  Stop right there!  You are setting up another analogy, and you don’t even have your facts right?!  This is so dumb!  You are so stupid!  How can you be this dumb?!  The simplest form of life on this planet is prokaryotic bacteria.  These are bacteria without a nucleus.  This video is so endlessly dumb!  I don’t get how you can be this stupid, and do so little research?!  Ugh!

And it contains as much information in its own DNA as a thousand complete sets of Encyclopedia Britannica.
So, are we to believe that there’s no way a message in a library book could generate, but far more complicated messages that contain a thousand times more information could have?

Well, yeah, actually.  That’s an easy one to accept.  Because, as we have demonstrated above, these types of information have absolutely nothing to do with one-another.  There is no logic behind your analogy, and it falls flat on its ass.  But, let’s keep going.  This is getting annoying.

Not likely.  You see, when it comes to life or anything else that contains information, the laws of information science confirm the necessity of a creative mind.  And guess what?  In the very first book of the bible, it happens to mention that.  “In the beginning, God create-” Bam!  Uppercut land on the chin!

Wow.  This dude must be shit for punching power, because I didn’t even feel that.  Maybe that, or the fact that his argument has no merit.  Matter does not contain “information.”  It is made up of stuff.  You can argue about life all day, but you can’t argue about everything else.  Like rocks, for example.  They aren’t made up of information.  They are made of raw matter, with no DNA for your dumbass book analogy.  Oh, and let’s not forget – you laws of information are complete bullshit.  So…why are you so proud of this?  It legitimately makes no sense.  Oh, and don’t use the Bible to prove your religion.  The Bible has been debunked a million times for the false and convoluted book that it really is.

And now here comes the indefensible head-blow.  We call this one the Not-a-Big-Bang-Bing Swing. The K.O. to the claim there’s no evidence for God.  The law that cause that the Left Hook of Doom.

I hope your punching power gets better, because your last blow was nothing.  Not to mention, you suck at making boxing puns.  For real, these are pretty fucking bad.

Everything that had a beginning had a cause.  The universe had a beginning, therefore the universe had a cause.

Not this argument!  Not again!  The Cosmological Argument.  This has been debunked so many times that it almost is just a waste of effort to talk about!  But here is a link to a post that I did where I took this argument apart, piece by piece.

Either something caused the universe to come into existence, or nothing caused.  Huh.  I may not be the smartest girl behind the telescope, but on this practical, everyday think, it’s gonna lead me to the former.  You have to work pretty hard to conjure up a way that nothing did it.  You see it’s pretty improbable, nay impossible, to account for design, information, and for the cause of the universe to just explode from nothing.  Smack!

Not even gonna go there.  You have my post above.  Read that.  I am not re-writing it here.

More on the topic, where did the matter come from that exploded?  Are we to that there’s nothing, and that the exploded nothing became something and that we are now smart enough to discover and understand the very laws that prove the opposite?  And if there is a general understanding that the laws in cause and effect is true – how can matter come from a lesser cause?  Like nothing?

What Laws?!  Seriously, where are some fucking links to this stuff?!  You give no evidence.  You provide your conjecture, but give the skeptics no way to check your facts.  that’s not good science!  The reason the Big Bang Theory is as popular as it is is because we have science that backs it up.  Stephen Hawking, arguably the smartest person on the planet, has written an entire book about how the universe came into being without the need of a supernatural being.  This is so dumb!  And again, I won’t go into how this could have come from nothing.  My post is above.  Check it out for yourself.  Oh, and by the way, the guy who originally came up with the Big Bang Theory, he was Catholic.

Here’s the difference between science and faith – science accepts that it doesn’t have all the answers, and it doesn’t decide to try and think it does by making up a ridiculously convoluted story, and feeding it to the people.  Science is humble.  Religion is anything but.  You make up a story that is so ridiculous that science laughs at it, and won’t accept any proof that you might be wrong.  That’s bad science, guys.  Sorry.

Disney Buys Star Wars? And Star Wars VII?! What the F*CK?!

Remember my rant at Square Enix, for milking the Final Fantasy series with another XIII title, that isn’t Versus XIII, the game we all want to see?  Well, now I get to have another rant, purely because this just pisses me off, and I want to say this as loud as I possibly can.  Don’t worry, I won’t be doing this in all-caps.  I have the good sense not to do that.  But yeah, this pisses me off.

First, what the fuck, Lucas?!  Is your swimming pool filled with money not deep enough for you?  Did your fat ass need another two mansions?  Has whoring out this franchise just not been enough for you?  I really don’t get why you did this.  You are worth a metric fuck-ton of money.  You probably have a gold-plated toilet, and rose oil scents so that you can fool yourself into thinking that your shit doesn’t stink.  Why did you feel the need to sell this once-great franchise to Disney?  This is a genuine mystery to me.  Actually, wait, he said in an interview that he did it for the money.  You are a whore, Lucas!  Actually, I take that back.  You are a pimp.  You pimp out your once great series, and if it doesn’t bring back the money that you hoped it would, you beat it, degrade it, and damage it, making it less and less respected.  This poor hooker of yours is now such a beaten shell, yet you keep forcing her to work.  And now, you have found a new John that you can throw her at, and because this John is a greedy miser, who has made an empire so large that it controls almost all of the great media, has decided that he wants your hooker, just to say that he has her.

And that brings me to my next point – why Disney?!  Disney is becoming a monster.  First, it took over Pixar.  Then, it took over Marvel Comics.  Now, you have sold one of the greatest science fiction franchises to them?!  These people are a bloated and well-oiled machine that is dumbing down our media.  For real, everything that Disney touches turns to shit.  It didn’t use to be that way, but it is now.  This corporation is a behemoth, and it needs to be brought down, not given more influx of capital into its already-bloated budget.  You could have sold this franchise to Warner Bros., and you would at least have been making a decision that didn’t feed a beast quite this big.  But no, your greedy ass had to have it your way, and you had to give yourself more money.  God, you are a disgusting person.

But the worst part – another movie?!  And I’m sure it will be another trilogy.  Thankfully, Mark Hamill isn’t going anywhere near that.  His reputation is secure, and especially since Batman: Arkham City, where he showed what an incredibly voice-actor he is, and that made his reputation, in my mind, forever.  Of course, we now get another film.  It has been announced for 2015.  Like a not-so-near, but very dear friend friend of mine said -

Ugh, I’m shuddering at the thought. They can’t leave well enough alone, at least not as long as big money is involved…

And that’s just it – there is money involved.  A lot of people think that this has the potential to be a good thing.  They think that a different filmmaker could possibly take this series in a new direction, and make it better.  Me, I am with Mr. Repzion.  There is almost no way that they can make this better.  This franchise has been damaged enough, and I shudder to think what a new filmmaker would do with it.  Hopefully, if Disney has any kind of brains at all, beyond the next fiscal year, they will hire somebody who is actually capable of making a good film, like J.J. Abrams, Chris Nolan, or Joss Whedon.  But I doubt that so much.

Lucas, you should have done as you said you were going to do.  You should have left it where it lay.  You ruined this franchise for a lot of people, and you did irreparable harm to this creation that we all came to love so much.  Now, you have sold it off, to a company who has a terrible track record with movies.  Not to mention – Disney is the sequel whore!  How many Cinderella movies are there?  How many Aladdin movies?  How many Pirates of the Caribbean movies?  This company is a lot like far too many video game companies.  They don’t know when to quit.  They don’t know when to say that they are done, and end on a high note.  Instead, they will take the love of the fans of this franchise, and will profit on it for as long as they can.  Huh, kind of like Square fucking Enix and the Final Fantasy franchise!

This is a sad day, people.  It is a sad day because here we are about to lose this thing that we all came to love so much.  Most of us are already hurt by this, and unless some miracle occurs, and Disney actually is able to let something good happen, instead of doing as they usually do, and trying to make everything family-friendly and PC, and this is going to make it worse.  Or, and this should really scare you – they hire Michael Bay to direct the next Star Wars movie.  Ponder that, for a long time…

I want to hope for it to get better, but at this point, I just have no reason to.

RE: THE AMANDA TODD SQUAD

I saw a video by my favorite YouTube vlogger, The Amazing Atheist.  He talked about the Amanda Todd tragedy, and his take was actually rather poignant.  He got me to think, and I have some responses to questions he asked in the video.

He pointed out that while Amanda Todd’s death is tragic, she isn’t the only one.  Kids all over this country are killing themselves after being bullied, and they don’t get the national stage that she has.  And people die all over the world from hunger every day.  Where are their voices?  Well, before we get to that, let’s answer TJ’s questions.

1. What makes Amanda Todd more important than Joel, Kenneth, Rachel and all of the other kids who have been pressured into of taking their own lives because of being bullied?  And if she’s not more important — Then why are you focusing on her to the exclusion of all the other victims of bullying?

Well, to be honest, she isn’t more important.  I freely admit that Amanda Todd is just one of the many victims.  But to the second question, I am not focusing on her to the exclusion of all other victims.  I am with Mr. Repzion on this.  We need to use her as an example for how this can and is happening to all sorts of other kids right now.  I am definitely trying to figure out how to deal with this on a larger scale.  Amanda Todd, to me, isn’t so much a martyr, as much as a reminder.  She is a reminder that this kind of thing happens all the time, and it goes unchecked, until the shallow society does as many have done with Amanda, and raise her on a pedestal and ignore everything else.

2. Why do you only care about bullying victims after they’ve killed themselves?

Again, I don’t.  This happens all the time, and I hate that.  I have seen it all the time where I grew up.  Back in my hometown, a good 80% of the girls in my school were vicious snakes, and the rest were their victims.  I always stood against that.  Being a titan of a man, I was able to bring those who were outcast into my fold, and give them a place and a home.  But there are many more who I couldn’t help back then, and who I realistically can’t help now.  If we are going to use Amanda Todd’s death for anything, it should be to remind people of that.

3. Why isn’t anyone talking about what REALLY needs to be done about bullying?

That’s a good question.  TJ brings up a lot of good points.  The American education system is broken.  That can’t be argued against.  I have railed against the broken education system in this country time and time again.  TJ’s solutions were pretty simple.  1. We need smaller classroom sizes.  Kids are being crammed into these rooms because the government won’t put any real money in education, because clearly, going overseas and killing people is much more important.  2. We need more teachers, and better pay to incentivise teachers to stay.  The average turnover rate of teachers is five years.  After five years, most teachers give up on the profession because the pay is miniscule, and the work is mind-numbing.  No teacher works an 8 hour day.  They work a 10, 12, 14 hour day.  If they didn’t, there would be no homework graded, no tests corrected, no tutoring, no coaching, no extra-curricular activities of any kind.  A teacher has to work their ass off, and they are chipping away at their student loans with pay that is downright pathetic.  It is shameful that we pay trained gorilla millions of dollars to throw a football, but we can’t pay the people in charge of the future generations a decent wage.  3. Children shouldn’t be left unsupervised on social networking sites before they can handle what comes with that.  4. We need to teach kids about how to fight against bullying.

TJ makes an especially good point there.  You think bullying stops the moment you get out of school?  Fuck no!  There are a metric ton of adult bullies who use their power over other people to make their lives miserable.  Kids should be taught to rely on nobody.  Remember that video where these boys were picking on a fat kid, and the fat kid got up and beat the shit out of them?  I remember that went viral.  Good on the kid who beat them.  We should teach kids to be strong, and not to take shit from anybody.  It will serve them well in the real world, away from school.  5. Exploration into the root causes of bullying.  Yeah, that makes sense.  I am with TJ.  Anybody who is against bullying should be for that.

4. Hundreds of thousands of people die every day from causes far worse than bullying.  Where are their stories?

Yeah, that’s a good point.  It is worth pointing out that America love a victim.  An American victim who they can latch onto and make into a poster-boy/girl for their cause.  And the reality is far more ugly than any of us can hope to believe.  My retort, though, would be that one has to pick their battles.  If my time being informed and seeing the world go to shit has taught me anything, it’s that you can’t take on the world.  One can only charge at windmills for so long before they are broken against it.  Now, this issue itself might be too big, but for those like me, who actually do want to do some good, this is far less of a windmill to climb than some of the others.  At least, that’s what I  think.

TJ pointed out at the end that if the story of Amanda Todd turns things around, he will admit that he is wrong in having contempt for those who have made this girl into a martyr.  I would like it noted that I have contempt for them as well, despite how passionate my post about her was.  This girl is a victim, and a tragic reminder of how our system has, and is failing.  But, like TJ, I don’t think that that will happen.  The news cycle will move on.  Amanda Todd will be forgotten,  Or, as he pointed out, we will pass some pathetic law, probably in her name, that doesn’t even try and solve the root cause of bullying.  It merely looks at the symptoms, and thinks that if we patch it up, that’s enough.  Because that is how America does.  America does what they think is just enough, and won’t cost a lot of money, because non-existent God-forbid that we actually work and make things better.  No, that would be just too much of a pain in the ass.  Instead, we will do the bare minimum, and that’s it.  Because America is the land of the lazy, and the home of the cost-effective.

Accomplishing real progress just isn’t in the fiscal plan for the year.

Amanda Todd: A Victim of a Species I Hate

There are a lot of days when people tell me that my hatred of the human race is totally uncalled for.  They say that the human species is doing great things, and that it is a few bad apples who are fucking things up for the rest of us.  But then I see stories like this, and I am reminded, once-again, of why the human race sucks.

For those who don’t know, there was a young girl named Amanda Todd.  This girl was, as so many girls are, used by a perverted sexual deviant.  This guy buttered her up and made her feel attractive.  When he had her trust, he asked her to send him pictures of her naked.  Specifically of her breasts.  The girl did so, and some time later, she was approached again, by a different man.  He told her that he knew her address, what school she went to, and who her parents were.  He threatened that if she didn’t give him a live show, he would send the naked pictures of her to everyone.  She didn’t give him what he wanted, and he made good on his threat.

Thus began a spiral of cruelty and bullying which ended in this young girl committing suicide.  This girl changed schools, but every time she tried to have a fresh start, this photo followed her.  The cruelty from her female classmates is unbelievable.  She was not only emotionally and verbally abused by these girls, but at one of the schools she went to, she was actually physically beaten by a bunch of them.  These are the kinds of people that were everywhere she tried to go, and nobody tried to reach out to this girl.  Eventually, the pain got to be too much, and she killed herself.

First off, let’s have a Fuck You to the girls who bullied this girl like this.  What the fuck did she do to you?  I mean, a bunch of girls physically assaulted this girl and left her on the ground like some kind of dead animal.  This kind of treatment is unacceptable.  The girls who did this are disgusting, and while I will never advocate for the physical harm of another person, if nobody should ever be these girls’ friend, or if nobody should ever talk to them again in their whole lives, that would be better than they deserve.  These girls are the worst people on the face of the entire planet.

Another Fuck You goes out to the school.  I am with Ana here.  These schools should have had comprehensive sex education.  The sex education in this country is pathetic, by any standard.  This abstinence-only approach is bullshit.  Girls should be taught about this stuff, and about the dangers that are out there, just waiting under the surface to strike.  These kind of predators are out there, and if we don’t start talking in a grown-up way about sex, and stop treating these kids like they are fucking idiots, then we are just begging for stuff like this to happen again.

But then I came across a video which showed me a different and even more disgusting angle to this.  See, there have been a number of people who have posted online that this girl committing suicide is her fault.  My response to that is – who the fuck do you think you are?!  Who are you to judge this girl, who was being ostracized by all three of the schools she attended.  Bullied at all three.  She had nobody.  There was this heart-breaking picture I found from a video that she put up where she talked about this, and honestly, I have to say that people who have this position are the worst scum on the face of the planet!  These people are the reason that I have a very dedicated hatred of the human race.

See, I suffer from depression.  It is off and on.  It is due to a head injury, which has messed up my brain chemistry.  I have been like this since I was 14 years old.  It comes and goes, and it came hit me hard.  I battle through it, and I am doing okay.  There are good days and bad days.  I admit that this fall, there have been a lot of bad days, but I keep going.

I am going to admit something here, and perhaps this should have been said on Coming Out Day, but here is my coming out story -

When I was 15, I was planning on killing myself.  I was in pain all the time.  My feet were in agony every single day.  Life was miserable, in every sense of the word.  It never got any better.  I had all sorts of people around me all the time, but they were around so much and they never seemed to understand how I felt.  I was so miserable.  Finally, I decided one day that I was going to kill myself.  I wrote a suicide note and everything.  I still have that note, but that is something that nobody, and I mean nobody, shall ever see.  Ever.  I keep it as a reminder of where I have been, and what I have gotten through.  To this day, I don’t know why I didn’t follow through.  I guess I just didn’t want to after a while.  Maybe it was because things did get a little better.  The pain got less, and I got off the pills I was taking that were fucking with my brain.  I got a little better.  But let me tell you – it takes a lot of strength to be able to take your own life.  If you are an atheist, like me, you are taking on the burden of giving up every single experience you could have ever had.  You only have this life, and after it is over, you are done.  There is no Heaven.  There is no God.  This is it.

I don’t think this girl is a hero or anything, but she is most certainly a victim, and her killing herself was not her fault.  This was the fault of a society that is so disgusting that it couldn’t recognize a girl who had been the victim of a sex crime and who had been used by a disgusting human being.  This is a society that is so afraid of its own genitals and talking to kids like they are fucking people that we don’t tell them what ugliness is just around the corner.  This is a species who is so pathetic that we have people who have created a Facebook page to this girl’s naked pictures, to use as a bullying tool against her!  And where the fuck was the Facebook admin people when this happened?!

Humanity, you make me sick!  The fact that anybody, ANYBODY, is blaming this girl for the fact that she killed herself appalls me.  There was a thread on Reddit that said that Amanda Todd “had it coming.”  Yeah, she had all this abuse and suicide coming because she made a mistake.  Fuck you!  I profoundly hate this species.  I hate this species because every time I am turning on the news, I am hearing more of this.  The hate, the bigotry, the divisive cruelty that people visit upon each other because of who those people are.  I hate this species so much because it seems like we are constantly given a choice to be better than what our nature commands us to be, and yet what do we do?  We constantly choose to be worse, because we don’t want to even try and be better.

I am angry, but more than angry, I am ashamed.  I am ashamed because there are kids just like Amanda.  There are girls who are just as abused, and they are going to be in that same situation.  And there will be just as many people who treat them like shit.  The only reason this got out is because she made a video telling the world about this, and here is a link to it.  Every time I watch this video, it makes me cry.  This is heart-breaking, and it pisses me off, because this is what our society does.

Fuck you, humanity!  Fuck you…

Lucien’s Opinion about the 2012 Election

Why the fuck do we care?  That’s my entire opinion.  Who fucking cares?  This is just another election that shows the greatest failure of modern democracy – that we actually think that it is worth something.

I tried to explain my position on my professional blog, in a way that makes sense, but people still seem to want to know what I think.  You wanna know what I think?  Well, here it is – this is so stupid!  There is a reality about the current social and political climate in this country that I don’t think people respect.  Or if they do, they don’t respect it enough.

There are two parties who control the bulk of politics in this country.  One is the Democrats.  At best, and I do mean at the very, very best, they are completely spineless cowards who will kowtow to Wall Street and the banks, unwilling to fight for anything and totally bending over for anything that big business wants.  At worst, they are completely and utterly complicit in the system that Matt Taibbi wrote about in his newest book, “Griftopia.”  People who are robbing us blind and don’t care about what happens to the rest of us.  We are little more than slaves to these people.  There was a bit on FRONTLINE about this, where a woman who worked at the bank said that when she saw the Occupy protestors outside of her building, she legitimately didn’t understand why they were so angry.  And the Democrats are 100% behind this, at worst.

Then you have the Republicans.  They are evil.  Straight-up, no bullshit, evil.  They are a party who has been engaged for the last few years in social battles that they lost in the 60′s, and have no chance of winning today, all for the purpose of keeping the eyes of the people away from Wall Street.  To keep people subservient and stupid.  And the worst part of all is that it works.  The people are totally behind this.  Their base of ignorant, white, middle-class voters stands up and cheers for the corporate slavish behavior of their party, saying how good business is, and how bad government is.  If only they knew that the government they so deride is a slave to big business.  A servant.  Oh well, that was too much to dream.

These are the people who control our government, and make all the big decisions.  And as we have seen with the Occupy movement, they don’t give a flying fuck what the people have to say!  When the people came in solidarity against SOPA and PIPA, what did they do?  They took down MegaUpload.  They did what those acts were designed to do, but without the legal crutch to lean on.  They just did it because they could.  That’s how this government works.  To hell with the people.  To hell with what they want.  It is all about what they want.  And what they want right now is whatever Wall Street wants.

Once upon a time, Obama was quoted saying, “America is back.”  Thank non-existent God that the people were smart enough to see that bullshit line for what it is – bullshit.  They didn’t buy it then, and they don’t buy it now that things are good.  We are smart enough to realize that things are really, really bad.

After the collapse of the economy in 2008, people expected massive reforms, to prevent this from happening again.  What did we get?  We got nothing.  We got toothless, in the most profound way, Wall Street reforms.  We got a Health Care Reform Act that is nothing more than a birthday present to the private insurance companies, since there is no public option.  We got Obama having the same people who got us into this mess telling him what to do with the economy.  And for some ridiculous reason, this is what people think is a good thing.  It’s good that we have a President who is showing his true colors of being Wall Street’s bitch.  Just like Bush, just like Clinton, just like Bush I, and just like Reagan.  Just like all of the Presidents of recent memory.

So, what do I think about this latest election?  I think it’s a fucking joke.  And the punch line is that people are talking about this like it actually matters.  It doesn’t!  This is the most stupid, asinine, pointless bullshit in all of existence!  No matter who you choose, it all ends the same!  We get a Wall Street slave who will continue this country’s downward spiral.

You know what hurts me the most about American culture?  How hard we have fought to get here.  To get to this point, so many people, from the million black people who marched on Washington, to the LGBT community, who even now has to deal with a massive culture of hatred, bigotry, and disgust.  So many people have tried so hard, and what do they get for their trouble?  They get where we are now.  They get this pathetic, shell of what was once a great country.

So, my thoughts about this election – who the fuck cares?  I don’t.  I am just enjoying watching people pretend that it matters.  That is always good for a laugh.

Another Hateful Message to a Gay Person (Some People Don’t Deserve to Live)

I remember that around Christmas, I put up a reply to a correspondence that I saw between a parent and child.  The kid, now grown up and living on his own, came out that he was gay.  The parent had some of the most hateful things that I have ever seen said.  There were the messages about how he (I think it was the dad) didn’t want the child in the house anymore.  He didn’t want the child to see his younger sibling, because he might rub off some of that gayness on the kid, along with saying that because he’s gay, he’s a pedophile.

But the young man responded with some of the greatest displays of strength that I have ever seen.  After barrage of hate after hate after hate, he said that the greatest tragedy was that his father would forever be unable to love him, while he would forever be unable to hate his father, even after being disowned.

It is a reality all over this country that Christian and other religious zealots have been attacking gay kids.  The story of this young man being disowned by his family is nothing new.  There are plenty of kids just like him.  Kids who are lost, disowned, and forced to live either on the street, or couch-surfing, or in shelters, if they can be found.

Here is another lovely message of hate toward a kid.  It is one of the most disgusting pieces of inhumanity that I have ever seen.  Any parent who thinks that this kind of thing is okay, I have one thing to say to you – you don’t deserve to have children.  You should have your ability to reproduce cut the fuck off.  For real, surgical castration, because you are such a piece of shit that you don’t deserve to be given the slightest inkling of respect to bring life into this world.

Here is the letter -

First, how the fuck was this letter necessary?  What possible explanation do you have for calling a letter specifically to be hateful toward your own child necessary?  How could you justify that in a way that makes sense?  Do you honestly think that somehow, you are in the right for this?  That you are a better person because of it.

Next, how is his lifestyle degraded?  Because he chooses to love somebody of the same gender?  Wow, what a real great person you are.  You won’t even have a slightly accepting tone to this.  You come right out of the gate that this is to not be nice.  Good for you.  And you just choose to leave all the love that you had for this kid in the past?  Is it that easy to just let go of it?  What a real piece of work you are.  Guess you must not have truly cared for that kid, because let me tell you, you inhuman and immoral piece of shit, if you have ever truly cared about anybody, you can’t just pack up and move on.

And of course, like any other bigot Christian, the moment that they say something hateful like this, they have to have God there to back them up.  Does it not strike the Christians as interesting that this God character that they all worship shares the same prejudice and bigotry as they do?  If they hate a group, you can guarantee that God hates them.  And if they think a group is just great, you can bet that God does too.  This God sure is a convenient guy.  Doesn’t sound at all like a character who was created based on the pathetic and petty prejudices of a primitive people in the desert.  Nope, not at all.

Oh, and another thing – do none of you Christians see the contradiction?  God created all things, right?  God created all matter and all life, exactly how he wanted.  Everything that exists in this world is part of his creation.  That means that he created these people with the ability to be gay.  They are born that way.  There is no choice.  This kid didn’t make a choice.  He was born gay.  If God created a person with the ability to do this, did you ever stop to consider that maybe he doesn’t look down on it?  Maybe it is just the way a person is?  No, that would be too hard.  It’s easy to hate a person.  To see a group of people that you don’t understand and to simply hate them is the easy thing to do.  It’s hard to accept a person who is different, and not what you understand.  But I guess you already knew that, you fucking loser parent.

By the way, good for mentioning that if the kid doesn’t attend your funeral, the family and friends would get it.  They are probably just as bigoted as you, given that they are still your friends.  And you know what, kiddo, you shouldn’t attend.  Let that old bastard rot away in misery.  Let him stew in his loneliness, confident in the knowledge that he disowned his own kid just because he was different.  This man is a bastard.  Don’t forget that.

This letter was received by this kid five years ago.  He was disowned from his family, via letter.  This father is a piece of shit.  If, by some completely miracle, he finds this post and reads what it says, I hope he gets to ponder what a piece of shit he actually is.  You don’t deserve any love, and kindness, or any respect.  And I bet that if the kid is a good guy, he still does love this man, and respect him.

Your gay son is better than you, you disgusting, immoral, piece of shit.  Kid, I hope you do have a nice life.  Fuck this guy.  He’s not worth losing sleep over.

Daniel Tosh, Rape Jokes, and Tumblr Feminists

Well, I thought that I would get into the middle of the internet drama again.  What can I say, I’m wired and I’m bored.  Daniel Tosh was recently performing at a comedy club in LA, The Laugh Factory.  He asked the audience what he should talk about.  Somebody shouted “Rape!”  It was then that a woman who is also a Tumblr feminist was in the club and decided to make a HUGE issue out of this.

The Tumblr feminists are a fascinating group of people.  To anybody who has a chance to see them, they are awesome.  Here’s a link to the Tumblr feminist who was at the club where Tosh was performing and decided to heckle him on-stage.  See, in her mind, when somebody even thinks about making a joke about rape, this must immediately be attacked and Tosh must be vilified in the worst way possible.  I’m not going to do this as a hit-for-hit style post, because I’m not in the mood for that, but I will give a little snippet, and you can read the rest if you like.  It is very telling of the kind of person this writer is.

I should probably add that having to basically flee while Tosh was enthusing about how hilarious it would be if I was gang-raped in that small, claustrophic room was pretty viscerally terrifying and threatening all the same, even if the actual scenario was unlikely to take place. The suggestion of it is violent enough and was meant to put me in my place.

Yeah, I wanna have a drink with this person and get into her head.  It must be a fascinating place.  To have this mindset, even when she didn’t get her facts right, is very interesting.  First, Tosh didn’t say that people should rape her.  When she heckled him on-stage, breaking the comedy club social contract, which stipulates that you don’t have to be there if you don’t want to be, and you can leave at anytime, so you don’t heckle the person on stage performing.  It’s just not done.

So, she disrupted the comedy club social contract, and when Tosh, the comedian who is kind of boring, sends it back at her, she goes on to Tumblr and reaches out to the Tumblr feminists, a group of radicals who don’t have a clue about what actual feminism is.

Let’s talk about them.  These people are a gold-mine of hilarity if you are ever bored.  These people have the basic belief that all men are evil.  For real, if you’ve got a dick, they hate you.  Or if you’ve got a dick, but you don’t feel like shit for having that dick, and feel like you are a monster who is oppressing women all the time, they hate you.  These women, and sometimes men, are some of the most self-involved people that I have ever come across.  They are wallowing in a deep pit of self-pity, self-martyrdom, and self-indulgent beliefs of their own superiority, with the rest of us being just a bunch of losers.

And these people are very ugly about their beliefs.  Anyone who challenges them is lambasted by their entire community.  But here’s the kicker – they aren’t above attacking one of their own!  Laci Green, a YouTube vlogger who I had had a lot of respect for until a while back, when I found out that she is one of them, has become the target of their rage.  She posted in a video and said the word “tranny.”  The Tumblr feminist community latched on to this and turned on her so fast that it probably made her head spin.  She had made an apology that to normal people would have sounded reasonable and acceptable.  But to these people, since they view anything that isn’t in their incredibly narrow way of thinking as wrong, decided that they were going to put up pictures of her apartment, and make death threats against her.  Laci Green, one of these self-pitying people, has become one of their targets.  What does that say about a community when it takes almost nothing to make them turn on one of their own?

But this thing with Tosh has galvanized them into action.  They are starting petitions to get his show removed from Comedy Central.  They are having this huge actions against Tosh, and why?  Because one of their own lied about what he said on stage, even after she was so rude as to break the comedy club social contract and not one of them fact-checked her.  This apparently is news.

What is with these women, anyway?  They seem to believe that they are the victims of some horrible social atrocity.  What, that they were born a woman?  These are women, in the Western World, between the ages of 15 and 25, bitching about how abused they are, and how awful their lives are, and how awful being a woman is.  How much do you wanna bet that not a single one of these women has been to Saudi Arabia, or Pakistan?  How much do you wanna bet that not one of these women has been to Haiti, or Uganda?  These women fascinate me in how they can talk about how oppressed women are, yet they have never seen real oppression.  No woman in America who talks about how oppressed American woman are has ever seen real oppression, because if they had, they would know better.  There are real gender issues in this country, but to call it “oppression” is beyond a reasonable stretch.  It’s an outright lie.

And let’s talk about rape jokes.  The Tumblr feminist community seems to believe that these are the worst kind of jokes, and pure evil, and that rape is the worst thing of all time.  Tell me – in what way are rape jokes somehow worse than other kinds of jokes about harsh stuff, like child molestation, or war, or murder?  We make jokes to take the harsh stuff and make it digestable, so that we can look at things from another way.  The point of humor is to make the difficult understandable.  We mock it, and the human condition.  I have been to many women’s shelters, and let me tell you, I have seen a lot of rape victims, and sometimes, the best thing that can be done for them is not to mock them, but to make a joke, because it makes the harsh easier, along with the heart-breaking.  I don’t think that women are the doormats that Tumblr feminists do.  Real rape is horrible and tragic, but to correlate a rape joke with supporting rape is just ridiculous!  Nobody with a soul supports rape, but we can all support humor, because it is what binds us together.

Here’s the ultimate truth that one can surmise about this group – they are bullies.  A woman punches a man because he says something she doesn’t like.  Violence being used to stop somebody from saying things that a group doesn’t like.  That is what thugs do.  They will attack people for saying what they don’t like, and threaten one of their own for saying something that they don’t like.  They also want to get rid of the Freedom of Speech when it offends them, trying to legislate their tastes and their ideas, to the detriment of a fundamental freedom that we all are supposed to have.  These people should offend real feminists who are fighting for women’s rights, and real equality activists like myself, who want equal rights for everybody.

Being a thug is never okay, it doesn’t matter what gender you are.

Texas: the Stupidest State in the Union

Yeah, again, I wish that I was making this up.  I wish that I had the imaginative skills to be able to make a satire of this.  It has come to the point where Texas has become its own satire.  This state is so stupid that it truly does amaze me.  Yet, as stupid as they are, they now what to make themselves stupider.  No shit, that’s exactly what Texas is trying to do.  They have written down, in the Republican Agenda, a new statement which absolutely astonishes me.  I had to have a few moments with this document.  In fact, let’s have some bits from it all over, so you can see where I am coming from in being amazed that Texas wants to make itself stupider.

Knowledge-Based Education – We oppose the teaching of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) (values clarification), critical thinking skills and similar programs that are simply a relabeling of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) (mastery learning) which focus on behavior modification and have the purpose of challenging the student’s fixed beliefs and undermining parental authority.

Wow.  Take a minute.  For real, take a minute, look at this bit from the article I linked to above.  Now, let it sink into your subconscious.  Texas, the state in the Union with some of the worst SAT scores, along with worst education, wants to abandon teaching that focuses on critical thinking.  That is…amazing, stupendous, unbelievably awe-inspiring.  I don’t think that I have seen something this incredibly stupid in my entire life.

An entire state of this country is openly admitting that they want to make our kids stupid and compliant to authority.  The levels of marvel that this strikes is unfounded.  I literally feel like I am watching a sitcom right now.  Texas, you are the dumbass dad from a bad sitcom, trying to make your kids obey you, and trying to make them stupid.  I love how they aren’t even hiding how evil they are anymore.  But guess what, it doesn’t end there.  These people, and their stupidity, goes all over the place.  Here’s another tidbit.

Supporting Motherhood ― We strongly support women who choose to devote their lives to their families and raising their children. We recognize their sacrifice and deplore the liberal assault on the family.

There’s been a running gag among liberals like me that Republicans want women pregnant and in the kitchen, barefoot.  Well, now it’s not a running joke.  The Texas Republicans have actually come out and admitted it!  I love this document!  This is the most awesome politically incorrect publication of a government plan that I have ever seen, and it gives me joy.  Not for the women of Texas whose rights could potentially be undermined while the government there tries to tell them that they should have kids and not pursue careers of their own.  No, I feel joy for the rest of America, who gets to have a laugh at how fucking stupid these people are!  If you are an intelligent person, and you live in Texas, run away.  Leave.  You have no places there.

But wait, it gets even better.  Here’s another morsel from the document.

Homosexuality ― We affirm that the practice of homosexuality tears at the fabric of society and contributes to the breakdown of the family unit. Homosexual behavior is contrary to the fundamental, unchanging truths that have been ordained by God, recognized by our country’s founders, and shared by the majority of Texans.
Homosexuality must not be presented as an acceptable “alternative” lifestyle, in public policy, nor should “family” be redefined to include homosexual “couples.” We believe there should be no granting of special legal entitlements or creation of special status for homosexual behavior, regardless of state of origin. Additionally, we oppose any criminal or civil penalties against those who oppose homosexuality out of faith, conviction or belief in traditional values.

This is incredible.  Does decency mean nothing to the Texas Republicans now?  I am glad that I can rest in the knowledge that not a single Republican from Texas will write on here that I am taking this out of context.  They want their evil opinions know throughout America.  They want the rest of us to know how horrible they are.

First, how is homosexuality destroying families?  If just one person could explain that to me, that would be great.  Oh, wait, they can’t, because it isn’t destroying the family unit.  It is just a group of people who want to lead their own lives and be left alone.  Apparently, that is too much to ask from the Texas Republicans.

Second, thank you for saying outright that there should be no legal repercussions for harassing and bullying LGBT youth and probably adults.  Hate laws, I guess you want to get rid of them.  Thank you for openly admitting that you want to spread hate throughout America.  Thank you for openly declaring that you hate gay people.  Not in as many words, but you have left absolutely no doubt.

Pornography ― We encourage the enforcement of laws regarding all forms of pornography, because pornography is detrimental to the fabric of society.

I guess all that jerking off really hurts Texas.  Like they think that if guys jerk off, they won’t want sex anymore.  News flash, Texas, guys who are jerking off would LOVE real sex.  Why do you think that porn has an audience?

Classroom Discipline –We recommend that local school boards and classroom teachers be given more authority to deal with disciplinary problems. Corporal punishment is effective and legal in Texas.

Hey parents, want the teacher to have permission to beat your kid?

Juvenile Daytime Curfew – We strongly oppose Juvenile Daytime Curfews. Additionally, we oppose any official entity from detaining, questioning and/or disciplining our children without the consent of a child’s parent.

There’s nothing I can say about this.  It doesn’t get any stupider.

I would love to comment on all the parts of this document that are stupid, but honestly, there’s just no point.  Check it out for yourself.  It is proof like no other that Texas is the stupidest state in the Union.  It literally doesn’t get any dumber than that.

Texas, you are evil.  You are led by evil people who are hate-mongering bigots, and obviously hate all of you.  Enjoy your stupidity.
